Which Diets are Beneficial to The Kidneys?

The kidneys are a pair of reddish-brown bean-shaped organs on either side of your spine, below your ribs, and behind your belly. Each kidney is about 4 or 5 inches long in adult humans.

The kidneys’ job is to filter the blood. All of the blood in the body passes through them about 40 times a day. If blood stops flowing into a kidney, part or all of it could die. That can lead to kidney failure.

Kidneys have important functions. They control the body’s fluid balance and keep the right levels of electrolytes. They maintain the balance of various minerals in the body, the urinary system, the excretion of waste from the body, and the function of various hormones.

Kidneys are very important organs. Therefore, we should take good care of them. ➡️ The diet is very important; we have to be careful when eating in order not to harm our kidneys. What kind of food hurts the kidneys? Let’s see  ➡️ Eating too much salty food, such as fish sauce, Chinese soy sauce, and Japanese soy sauce. ➡️ Eat high-sodium foods such as canned food, seasoning sauces, shrimp paste, soy sauce, dipping sauces, bean curds, bouillon cubes, juices pack (some types), instant noodles, frozen foods, crunchy snacks, and dried shrimps. ➡️ Eat fermented food such as pickled cabbage, salted fish, pickled fish, fermented pork, and pickled bamboo shoots. ➡️ Eating too many saturated fat foods, such as trans-fat bakery products, fried foods, and fatty meats. ➡️ Eating too much-processed meat such as bacon, sausages, Chinese sausages, ham, bologna, and Vietnamese pork. All of these foods require a lot of salt in their processing. ➡️ Drinking too little water can hurt your kidneys. In general, you should drink at least 8 glasses of water per day, depending on the amount of water lost. For example, on a hot day, with a lot of sweat, you should drink more water than usual. Hurry to adjust the new diet for kidney health, so they are not prematurely deteriorated.
